***EDITED: Your baby is encouraged to attend with you (although if during naptime, it will still be very helpful without!)
Your baby is finally clothed, fed, and changed, and is now staring up into your eyes. You think to yourself, "now what?" How can I support my baby's development and provide her with the tools to grow into a fantastic human being?
Join Ayelet Marinovich, a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist and creator of "Strength in Words", for this free workshop to learn:
+ Simple, practical ways to support early development in the areas of cognition, communication, motor/sensory, and social/emotional development - using nothing more than repurposed common household objects to create play materials and musical, early literacy, and sensory experiences
+ How to maximize your time with your infant - whether you work out of the house full-time or home is your work
+ The developmental basis for simple activities you may already be doing - helping to reaffirm what you already know and do innately, and helping you to boost the likelihood you'll keep doing them!
This workshop will be from 1-2:30 pm.
