Back by popular demand, join us for a Tinkergarten Class!
Saturday August 25th, 9:30 - 10:45 am, FREE
Drawing inspiration from Maurice Sendak's imaginative Where the Wild Things Are, kids will create their own crowns using the natural treasures around them—a simple but developmentally powerful pastime.
Kids will wear their crowns while playing in a mud pie bakery. This class combines the universal power of dirt, water and nature treasures with a universal context for play—cooking and food! The kind of mixing, smashing and mashing that kids do in an outdoor kitchen invites sensory play and pretend play in an appropriate and engaging way for kids 1.5 to 8 or even older.
The class is 60 minutes long.
