Join us for this free 40 minute interactive virtual discussion about what every parent should know about her pelvic health after pregnancy.

In pregnancy and postpartum, postural changes, hormone level fluctuations and the birthing experience itself can cause various problems like incontinence, diastasis recti and pain.  We’ll discuss some of the more common conditions that mom's face postpartum: what causes them, simple techniques that can be done to address them and how pelvic floor physical therapy can help. 

About the Speakers:

Dr. Ann Udofia, PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She specializes in the treatment of pelvic health and chronic pain conditions for all genders. As a mother of a 6 yr old and 4 yr old, she has a particular interest in working with the pre and postpartum population.  She is a strong proponent of wellness and prevention and strives to empower her patients throughout their journey before, during and after childbirth. www.annudofiadpt.com

Lucia Miller, PT, MPT is a Senior Pelvic Health Physical Therapist who helped launch the nation's first multidisciplinary Pelvic Health Center at Stanford Health Care. She is passionate about providing pelvic physical therapy to treat conditions seen in pregnancy, pre- and post-partum, pelvic trauma or surgery, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, bowel dysfunction and various pelvic pain conditions across all genders.
