What: Dads and Discipline: Cooperation at Home

Dads, join us to discuss mutual challenges and share effective strategies, especially since we are spending more time at home! During this workshop, we will tackle the biggest issues facing today's fathers and we will reveal how you can walk the fine lines of discipline, respect, and support while gaining your child's cooperation. We will talk about the values of listening, leading by example, staying in the moment, setting clear limits, and motivating your children.

Tom Limbert




Tom Limbert is a published parenting author and Parent Educator at Parents Place. He excels at supporting parents in communicating with and guiding young children. As an early childhood specialist, he has been working with young children and their families since 1992, including ten years at Stanford’s Bing Nursery School. Tom has a Master’s degree in Education with an emphasis in early childhood development, is the co-creator of Studio Grow, and the Director of Woodside Preschool. Tom’s first book, Dad’s Playbook: Wisdom for Fathers from the Greatest Coaches of All Time, has over one hundred inspiring quotes and includes a foreword from Hall of Fame quarterback Steve Young. He is the author of What They Won’t Tell You About Parenting, and his most recent book is titled Most Valuable Dad.
